From 29th September to 2nd October 2025, the 14th edition of the European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH) took place in Hamburg. During this important international event, the NeuroSolve project was widely presented.
Three PhD candidates showcased their respective posters during the poster session held on Monday, 29th September:
- Mapping of stakeholders in the implementation of One Health in the control of the pork tapeworm in affected communities in Zambia by Richard Mambo (UNZA);
- Sustainment of health education delivery to control pork Tapeworm infections in selected districts of Tanzania – Implementation research by Fredy Mlowe (SUA);
- Trends and determinants of pig confinement, latrine use and water sanitation adoption in Tanzania – A longitudinal study by Anthony Nyerere (SUA).
In addition, on Tuesday, 30th September, PhD candidate Melai Mubanga (UNZA) delivered an oral presentation of her abstract Barriers and opportunities in adopting serological diagnostic for neurocysticercosis in district hospital in Zambia using CFIR framework during the NTDs-related scientific session.
The conference provided not only a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange and in-depth discussion, but also an important occasion to raise awareness and promote the NeuroSolve project among the international research community.
