Dr Fredy Mlowe and Dr Antoni Nyerere, two PhD students under NeuroSolve project, presented some preliminary results of NeuroSolve at the EDCTP Forum, held in Kigali from 15th to 20th June 2025.
The poster focused on the sustainment of health education (HE) delivery for controlling pork tapeworm infections (Taenia solium). Preliminary findings suggested that HE delivery sustainment for controlling T. solium infections is poor in the study districts, highlighting the need of exploring the barriers and facilitators to develop effective strategies for ensuring sustained HE delivery.
