On September 28\u201329, 2025, the historic city of Ghent hosted the NeuroSolve Annual Meeting, bringing together all partner institutions involved in the project. The meeting gathered Principal Investigators, supervisors and PhD students for two days of collaboration, discussion, and strategic planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting provided a valuable forum to reflect on the project\u2019s progress and to chart the path ahead. Key topics included updates on the ongoing clinical trial, developments in implementation research, and the contributions and progresses of early career researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the event was more than just a scientific gathering. It was also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite the NeuroSolve project team. In a warm and collaborative atmosphere, participants from diverse cultural backgrounds came together, united by a common goal: to adress the burden of neurocysticercosis, implementing research results into real-world clinical practise, with the final aim to improve the health and quality of life of those affected<\/strong> \u2014 as well as their caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting reaffirmed the project\u2019s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and impact, setting the stage for the next phase of work in the fight against this neglected tropical disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
